I was looking into GPS trackers and a few recommended a TK102 system. Seems to be around £10-£20 and you can wire it into the 12v supply. You call it (thanks Baltic ) for location and some versions of it have a movement sensor. If you link it to livegps.co.uk you can track it live on google maps.

I fitted one on my Td6 and then moved it across to my 4.4tdv8 .

I use one of these, hidden in the dashboard and wired to a ignition 12v feed so it bursts into life when the car is started without draining the battery when the car is left standing for long periods. A PAYG sim card (a £10 top up lasts for about a year dependant on usage) and a lifetime subscription to GPS Live. I get a notification on my phone if the vehicle moves and the tracking seems spot on with mobile phone and desktop apps giving accurate location details.

I had a TK102 device which I carried in my pocket when motorcycling** but stopped using it when the 2G network closed. It worked well. I had a cheap 365 day expiry SIM in it. One disadvantage was network coverage in some areas where I rode.
