Give me some good reasons for considering the 525bhp 5.0SC

In lieu of the PHEV concerns......I'm working out would I want an 5.0SC....daft I know but just humour me please folks...I'll start:

1. I think I can live with 20mpg (will I get that....oops not meant to be a question....)

1. The wonderful noise (I sat behind one while they were waiting to pull out at a junction and it was pure music!).
2. Could you live with a 2.0 4 pot Ingenium in its place.
3. Get one while you still can, the choice can’t be there for too much longer.
4. The noise.
5. More boot space.
6. Did I mention the noise?!

I'm gathering the noise is key....lol

So on that noise......does it matter 510...525...or 550 bhp?

I see some advertised 518bhp also.....whats the script? all smug in my new plug!

Plus a twin stainless sound system. And I don't mean the Meridian audio!
The 5.0 sounds amazing!

It's smoother and more refined. Easy to drive gently, punchy for overtaking etc if required, but you need to restrain yourself to avoid licence problems.

I've averaged 25mpg on longer journeys with cruise control on, e.g. up and down A9 with average speed cameras.

It's less complex than either the diesels (no DPF, turbos, AdBlue) or the PHEV with battery/petrol engine interface and unproven technology for LR.

No need to worry about legislation to penalise diesels or restrict where they can go, or about oily filling station equipment.

As others have said you won't have the chance to get a 5.0SC for much longer.

More sense of occasion on start-up. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Thanks for the comments chaps.

Had a look on the approved website and tbh not much floats my boat for what I want.....lol a few almosts.....guess it depends on how new I want it.

I ideally want a towbar and ideally some screens in the headrests for RSE and also piano wood. I actually don't mind even just a 2017 car that has the new screen as I don';t know if I need a brand new one tbh.

Whats different from 2017/18 cars to the new MY !9 cars in an SC? Anyone take a guess?

P all smug in my new plug!
