Hi all
I have a dud gearbox position switch, to replace it i have a new bmw one.
As you know the cable length is wrong, is there anyone who can tell me how long the range rover one is, so i can extend the cables.
I could take mine off first of course, but i am still using the car every day, and was hoping to modify the new one on one evening and then fit the next evening.
I have to start it, select neutral and the stop/restart it in order to get the gearbox out of safe mode. Then its okay untill i turn it off again. Sometimes it sets the engine light on, but i always carry a bluetooth diagnostic kit and reset it.....
Anyway mot is almost up now so i need to get it sorted asap.
So can anyone help with the length of the connecting cable?
