You are unlikely to find anyone who has done what you are proposing exactly so I doubt someone is going to categorically say they are interchangeable but if the part number is the same and they look the same it seems reasonable to give it a go!

You can always compare the two items side by side once you have removed the existing one. Then make a decision about which to refit! Bish.

If you are that desperate, then as bishbosh says, have them side by side and compare.

Personally, I wouldn't bother my shirt even trying... a cheapo new one on ebay looks to be from £120 upwards. Second hand would be easily found too ... and that way you know they would fit ...

Heck, buy the £120 one, fire it in the car as that'll get you going again, sell the old on ebay for a few quid, walk away job done with no 'what ifs' in mind.

Whats the problem with your existing one ? V8 or else ...

Thanks for replys but after looking the bmw one it won't fit different setup. To get a secondhand one here in Australia will cost double the amount of getting it sent over. Also I broke the one in the car so I carnt even sell it off lol. Big Cry the break is at the front diff end not wheel end. And all I did was drive out of the driveway. 02 l322 4.4 HSE
