Transmission thermostat

Hi
Changed the rad at the weekend and while doing it noticed that the small block connecting to the transmission cooler plate was leaking. Looking at MC (thanks to Dan) the part number is PBM000010. When googled the parts comming up as an aircon thermostat? Any idea how this could be tied to that system or is it just a poor description of the part?
