Bumper mounted spot / driving lights

Hi guys, I've seen, to my surprise, a photo of a MY10 updated car with bumper mounted spot lights; I did some surfing on the Net and found the LR factory brackets on EBAY including fitting instructions showing the updated bumper front; so I bought them and will fit after market lights to the factory brackets. My question is for the MY10 models and later - if you did fit the factory spot light kit - where was the switch mounted? In pre 2010 models a new Dash faceplate and switch came with the lights. But the 2010 onwards dash has no space for the switch. 2017 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 (with e-diff)

Could you post a link of that photo please? I'd be interested in some myself.

Regarding switching, i'm sure I've seen a picture combined switch for this which replaces the fog light one... will see if i can find it again. __

Stan, did you mean up on the roof console? Yes, good idea, that is an option. I hadn't realised that where the deployable steps button went; cant see it in the handbook.....??

Re the changed spotlight switch - interesting!!

On TOPIX there is no indication of the Lamp Kit so I wasn't sure where to look next. I wonder if any old Brochures show the switch.

you can ask dan @ duckworths ...but as it's a blank plastic cover in the console you could make a hole in the cover and fit any switch... ... - .- -.

Thanks for the link

I think that offer is now expired.
I don't think it would have worked on MY10-12.
It states it is for 03-09.

Only link I found was this for an A bar.
But it's expensive
And looks horrible.

Couldn't find a part number on the switch.
I called LR Bromley who fitted my deplorable side steps and asked them.
Apparently the part number is for the whole unit. LR don't sell bits and pieces from the install kit.

I had a set up like this on my Mk1 Cortina GT (happy days) I just wired straight to the battery via a relay which was operated by the main beam feed. I also incorporated a switch (under the bonnet) so I could have them not come on with main beam but I hardly (if ever) used it - when I needed main beam I needed as much light as possible. Obviously as the relay only operated on main beam they went off when dipped. No need to make this difficult Thumbs Up Geoff

Bumper lights

I know it says to 2009 BUT the instructions clearly show the 2010 facelift the whole way through so I am positive they will fit.

BlackPerth, do you know what lights are mounted on the 2010 RR you posted? I like the size and the gray trim rings. I don't think those are the lamps from the LR kit VUB001090.
