New battery advice needed

I need to get a new battery for my L405 2014. model.

I was about to order the following:

https://advancedbatterysupplies.co.uk/prod...technology

At £155 and CCA of 900 and Ampere Hours: 95 it seemed a good buy.

But the RAC website says I should spend £317.20 on

https://www.racshop.co.uk/bosch-agm-batter...1-b13.html

And halfords will only charge me £132.00 as follows:

http://www.halfords.com/motoring/bulbs-bla...ar-battery

But I cannot work out whether I should spend the extra money or go for the cheaper option - Advice welcome please!

There are advantages to buying locally if you can, rather than mail order. Several sources say you need an 019 size, AGM technology battery.

For mail order, many have found Tanya a good supplier and they’ve been around for years
https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/types/019-agm/

If you jump in whilst EuroCarParts have a sale on (everyday?) their prices on batteries can be competitive and you get the advantage of easy returns if it turns out to have failed in two years time.
Current code is Sale55, which gives decent prices. Don’t ever pay the full listed price.
With that, an 019AGM Exide battery is £182

That RAC price is a joke, surely. For the same battery Tayna want £190

Not convinced that the Halfords battery listed is an AGM battery. Flooded cell batteries are much cheaper, but have different charging characteristics and are not for your car.

The alternative is to buy a LR branded battery from main dealer. It will cost more, but there is a school of thought that says they are more reliable. Another school of thought says they’re probably made in the same factory, to the same standards as a Varta battery. Your money, your choice! Current: 2010 Range Rover L322

I'm a EuroParts fan - I bought a Bosch S5 years ago for my L322 - it failed something like 4 years later but had a 5 year warranty - I walked in with it, they put it on their tester for a few seconds, quick look at my receipt an got me a new battery. I was in & out in a few minutes - very impressed Thumbs Up
