2005 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Tonga Green
getting a bit annoyed with fleabay sellers

trying to buy various bits and pieces for my 'new' vogue

taking the advice of respected/knowledgeable members i'm trying to source genuine landrover parts

its only simple things like wiper blades/seat covers etc etc

so i look on fleabay and see under manufacturer 'Landrover' but when i contact the sellers they admit they are not OEM parts and try to justify this by saying that are 'as good as' Mad

colloquially its 'doing my head in' - Very Happy

You win some you loose some on eBay. If you search for "Genuine Range Rover Wipers" that filters out a lot of the rubbish. People aren't usually stupid enough to say somethings genuine if it isn't, otherwise you will get a refund from Paypal easy enough and they will loose out.

As for your wipers, here you go:

As Gary says Nick's your man Thumbs Up

Or as I did before I knew "The Large One" existed, go see your local dealers Parts Manager for a price, then ask for a discount and see what they say........ Whistle You can always walk away but I bet you get a set for the right side of 30 quid, in your hand, there and then Wink

I've had great sucess on Ebay for some things but, for me, applying the above logic when sourcing my Supercharged rear lights mean't my local dealer was cheaper for a brand new set than any Ebayer and I could make sure they were't damaged in anyway before parting with my "hard earned" Laughing

thats were i ended up buying parts

just received all three wipers and the 'trim' that fits at the top of the door/window - a few rust bubbles that annoy me!

ordered seat covers from Gordon Lamb chesterfield - will arrive weds and they will fit for me thursday

i know it may seem lazy getting seat covers fitted by a main dealer but i gather they are a bit tricky and my disability means i have limited mobility - cost for fitting only £42 inc vat etc and its up to one hours work

also getting them to fit the door trims

i brought some non OE mudflaps and tbh they fitted fine and look as good as the OE ones, and they were half the price.....obviously something like a mechanical part would have to be OE. ... - .- -.
