The battery is finished chap. You say its from Nov 2012 so its time to replace it. It will keep letting you down until it fails completely. Fatty's are hard on battery's anyway and given the use the car gets Its done well to last that long.

OK thanks, i did wonder; but do you think 110ah is suitable enough or should i go for something else ???

the 020 type with 110amps is ok for yours.. ... - .- -.

i'd try and get it locally so if it goes faulty it will be easy to take back and change... ... - .- -.

Just survived the winter (although it still seems to be going on!) by plugging in the FFRR to the cTek every night with the same Varta L1 110aH which went in @ 2014. Got fed up and bought a new one, problems gone away.

We baulk at the price of new batteries and the regularity of having to change them in an FFRR, but then it is really only the price of a tank of petrol/diesel. Just do 500 miles less one month .

Am I right in thinking the newer FFRR use an AGM battery. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal |
