Good evening all I have just got a 2007 VSE with adaptive headlights and I would like to know how to check if there working ok when I turn them on should they do the calibration movement every time I turn them on or is it once every so many times when I turn the steering the corner manoeuvre lights come on just would like to know if the HID are doing there stuff when there on one is brighter than the other so I have ordered a new set of bulbs when you turn the ignition on the yellow warning light comes on then goes of when started cheers Steve

I have just had a look and it only dose it’s thing when you start the engine I was thinking it done it when you turn on the ignition

Steveo, the AFS system takes its data from the Air Suspension along with the gearbox and several other areas... Engine must be started to get this data sir

Cheers is there also a shutter in the headlights that moves when you select main beam

Yes there is, only moved when full beam is selected from dipped beam, NOT full beam flash as that only works the halogen full beam lights...
