Range Rover Evoque

I got it from babyrr.com, which was posted by Martin and someone on D3 saw it. Anyway, this is the real thing out on the road and I actually quite like it. Not everyone is going to agree but for a town car I think it would be perfect or even for a small family. Plus if it's as capable as all Land Rovers it would be great for this snow and ice. I get the argument of it not being a real Range Rover, but I suppose it's the Freelander of Range Rover. Much more classy than the Sport:

Front wheel drive only - I think not.

How many ppl are actually going to pay for the 4wd version? It's going to damage the brand when they start getting stuck in icy car parks.

Good point, If I was to buy one I would get the 4x4 model. But then didn't Range Rover lose a lot of it's prestige and reputation when the Sport came out?! Not that I want it to go down hill anymore. Still looks good IMHO and seems like a good little companion for a FFRR. Each to their own at the end of the day Thumbs Up

Have to say it looks good "in the flesh" just a shame it was not the Land Rover Evoque.

I think he means instead of the "Range Rover Evoque" it was the "Land Rover Evoque". Although I suppose it means another member for the RR family and they are equal sizes.

Yes I meant they did not have to call it a Range Rover.

Range Rover is/was a "Model" name not a "Brand" name as it is becoming.

You used to have:

Land Rover Defender
Land Rover Freelander
Land Rover Discovery
Land Rover Range Rover

Then came the dreaded

Land Rover Range Rover Sport Censored

And it all started to change........

Was talking to LR guy today and agreed the current brands will split and the Range Rover will soon be the Vogue or Vogue SE as in:

Land Rover "Defender"
Land Rover "Freelander2"
Land Rover "Discovery4"

Range Rover "Sport"
Range Rover "Evoque"
Range Rover "Vogue"

Brand's could then be sold on separably, inevitable I am afraid Rolling Eyes
