What to look for on collecting a 2018

I’ve seen a couple of comments about saggy leather and worse on the Sport forum, but are there any other common displays of poor workmanship on delivery that any others have found, that I should look for?

Left side steering wheel switch-pack - make sure it works!

Thanks, will look at switches.
Just curious, but the vehicle I ordered on 30/1, is now built and ready for hand over next week.
Have there been a lot of cancellations or something?

Thanks for that.

Reason I asked is that I ordered my VSE on 13/11 and heard zilch from the dealer, just keep getting fobbed off with.... "We've heard nothing from LR yet"!!

I'd say you've done exceptionally well to get your car so quickly!

Quote from dealer ‘doohickey’
“ not that I’m aware of I must say, there are often supply constraints on certain options due to lack of availability however I can assure you that the factory would never let a vehicle go into build without having all the components ready for it”

Well, that’s reassuring 🙈

In a well run bizniz, that wouldn’t happen, that’s why the Japs won the car market in the last millennium, and by throwing all the toys in for the same price as the Japs realised it cost so much /slowed production to have different options Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...
