Roof Rails Roof Bars

Sometime ago there was a post regarding Thule Roof bars and that the Thule roof bars and foot pack for the L322 may fit the L405. Has anyone tried this and if so did it work?

I am not keen to fit the roof rails to my 405 but I need to transport a Thule Atlantic 900 Roof box when I go skiing so this maybe my only option.

How easy is it to fit the roof rails and potentially remove them after each trip?

Thanks

Andrew

They won't - there isn't anyone who makes bars for an L405 other than fitting permanent rails

If you have a tow bar, then you can consider a Thule EasyBase (or similar) or a trailer

Thanks Alistair,

I have a tow bar and trailer but the thought of driving from the UK to the French Alps with a trailer fills me with horror.

We cram so much in the roof box including numerous pairs of long skis so it maybe that roof rails are the only option.....if they can be easily removed that would be a bonus albeit not ideal.
