My ATB has the Webasto pre heater function, I love it. However, I am having a lot of trouble engaging the "REST" heat function when parked waiting and I want a bit of heat.

1. Turn the car off
2. Power on the info screen using the knob
3. Press CLIMATE hard button
4. Select REST heat

The screen beeps registering that I have touched the button, but the REST button remians grey. I have had it light up ONCE an the system seemed to work.

No not stupid, just being a Land Rover owner
For what it's worth mine on a 16MY doesn't work either so I just turned on the donkey instead. Not right but saves the grief of dealing with the monkeys in the garage.

Well, it worked this morning!

Car off. Radio on button pushed. Navigate to the Climate section, selected "REST", and wafts of warm air surrounded me whilst I listened to the radio and waited for my train to arrive.
