I have a 2006 SC with RSE. The RSE is superb, the kids love it and they can independently choose what they watch, DVD, TV, Aux, Radio, CD.
The seats are bliss, I'm 6'2" with a bad back and I never feel tired after a long drive.
MPG 18.6 average and I boot it now and again, who wouldn't.
I like the interior, a proper handbrake and a rugged look.
I've upgraded the Bluetooth module to transfer the phonebook and ungraded to digital TV via Wiggs.

I test drove the new 4.4 TDV8 a couple of months ago with a positive view of buying one, but to be honest, I prefered my 2006 SC, so I'm keeping it. I bought it last year with 28k on the clock from a main dealer for £30k...now that is good value for money.
Sorry I can't comment on the 2007 model, but I agree with others, get the best deal you can based on history, mileage and price and make the decision about 2006 or 2007 a secondary consideration. Current MY2020
