2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Indus Silver

L405 and NVH issues at 2000rpm

I have a 2013MY SDV8 Autobiography which i purchased in Nov through Land Rover Used Approved. I love the car but it has one very frustrating and unresolved issue, namely, noticeable NVH at around 2000rpm, especially during urban driving. It's been back and forth to the dealership who now tell me that it's a function of early L405s, which i do not believe.

Has anybody else experienced this NVH issue?

The dealer also told me today that the noise @ 2000rpm is a function of early L405 engines but as far as I know the SDV8 engine has remained unchanged since launch in 2012 - true yes?

2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Baltic Blue

It must have changed at some point after 2013 , because early L405’s do not have the Turbo drain modification .
Sorry I don’t know which model year saw the mod introduced.

2017 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Corris Grey

No NVH at 2000rpm in my Sept 2012 engine (322), nor in the 2013 MY 62 405 I have driven, I'd ask someone with no financial incentive in fobbing you off to investigate. Only Range Rovers since 1988
