Phil,
I have someone already thank you, I guy i really trust. He corrected the debacle on the MY17.
The dealer i bought it from put on the paint protection which they did as part of the deal but didn't prep it first just put it on.
there were water marks all under the coating, it took him a full day to get back to basics.
I have given my dealer strict instructions not too touch the paintwork in anyway, inside the car take off only the plastics you need to make it safe to drive and if they have to wash the car it cannot be touched a sponge and i have told him i will be checking when i collect it next Friday. He too thinks i am a nutter but hopefully he will understand. LOL
I am proper anal when it comes to washing the car and it looks like it is going to get worse.
The detialler wants me to buy a b l o o d y leaf blower to dry off the car, so i don't create swirls when a use my towel to dry it.
I thought using Snowfoam to start with, washing it with 2 buckets, using a lambs wool mitt and a drying towel was bad enough. My neighbours already think i am a fruitcake.
Drying the car with a leaf blower will confirm it for them. Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
But guess what will be ordered.

Picked up from the dealer on Thur followed by 3 days of Detailing/Ceramic Coating. The dealer had completely messed up the paintwork and the gloss black parts such as the A/B/C pillars, all covered with micro-scratches throughout.

Not any more Very Happy

How lovely is that!

I’m extremely, very jealous - in a good way.

And from the pictures the detailing job looks superb. What do I put here then?

looks very very nice, not a swirl mark in site.
The black pillars mark very easily, something to do with soft paint.
Mine looked like they had been polished with a sander when i collected it from the dealer.
Roll on Friday and then Sunday after it being detailled
