More advice.....sorry

Hi guys, following on from my recent post regarding adivce on the 4.2, I was kindly pointed in the direction of a 5.0 sc being sold by a forum member.

Having looked through old post it seems the vehicle suffered a slipped cam chain, all has been replaced and assuming all is fine now but just wondering members thoughts, should I steer clear?

I have messaged the seller but no reply as of yet so it may be sold but is still showing on autotrader.

Many thanks

Personally it wouldn't put me off if its all fixed , I'd look on it as having had a recent top end rebuild

If it's been done using new parts and there's documented proof, receipts etc it wouldn't put me off as long as it wasn't done yesterday and has a few trouble free miles under its belt

United States 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Santorini Black

I have just recently bought a 2010 5.0 S/C Autobiography with 106,000 miles. Within the last year it had chains, tensioners, gears, supercharger and water pump all replaced, the car runs amazingly well and quietly.
Basically, go for it!!
