Rear Wiper Issues

Over the weekend I finally got around to attempting to sort the rear wiper after intermittent issues.

I removed the spoiler, rear wiper arm and motor assembly. I stripped the motor back, cleaned with WD40, replaced the plastic motor gear, re-greased and reassembled.

Reassembled back on the tailgate and reattached the wiper arm, tested and nothing...

So I removed the front cover from the motor assembly and reconnected, on engine start up the motor mechanics oved so I reassembled and reattached the wiper arm again and tested but no movement...

Inspected the spindle/pline and motor arm and the arm looks a little worn. Do I need a replacement arm or is it likely to be something else?

Any helps greatly appreciated

Does the spindle move when you ask it to form the steering column stalk? That will rule in / out worn splines. Bish.

Wow, that's a good price. Mine stopped working a couple of months ago, and this week I thought I ought to fix it at last, but new motors seem to be around £195.
Where did you get yours for £100 ??? Andrew
