Windscreen

Im having my screen changed tomorrow by National Windscreens.

Should I be looking out for new trims etc??

IE will they fit new top seal, what about the a pillar trims, do they replace the clips etc??

Im dubious as I take great care of my car??

Thanks.

i had a screen change last year by a local firm to me and they replaced the clips, i am very particular about my car but after it was installed you wouldn't know that its been changed apart from i now have the problem of the rain sensor not working, i read on here that it may need recalibrating but am struggling to find a local indie who can do this for me so may have to go to main dealer, good luck FF TDV8 WESTMINSTER EXTERIOR DESIGN PACK 2012

Well two guys from national windscreens showed up. One apprentice and one guy who claimed to have been fitting screens for 35 years. He didn’t look that old πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I needn’t of worried perfect job new top trim screen is perfect and now working properly.

Good job.

What sort of stuff? I didnt think a windscreen change could mess up that much?

Alarm firing randomly
Suspension going down randomly front the back
Lights on dash flashing randomly
Two and fuel gauges flicking around
Brake lights on while car locked πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I don't mind sorting/fixing anything as I invested in the car knowing this will happen, little unsure on the randomness of stuff though !!!

Possibly they had the doors open for so long that they have run the battery down whilst replacing screen ?
