breaking into transit vans

this is worrying , apparently you can 'peel' the sliding door down with just brute force...

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

A civil engineer friend of mine had a new Transit on loan while his Ford Ranger was in for service. A thief open a locked door using a screw driver in the lock and stole £33,000 work of kit in two small suit case sized boxes. Transit security — useless.

Alas , nothing is new here ..
Haven’t used a van for business for about 25 years , but the only way to ensure stuff wasn’t stolen then was to take it out overnight- always easy to break into
Looks like the bad old days are with us again - along with huge bike crime, rising insurance premiums (here in London for sure)
If you have a van and keep valuables in the back - keep a bad tempered hungry dog (or 2) in there 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back
