I re-mapped my previous 4.4 L322 and I had no issues.

I had the wife`s GTD golf done after VW did emissions fix which completely messed up the golf,

i'm not a fast driver but i have found the standard engine has enough power when i need it.. ... - .- -.

Both my bosses had their 4.4 re maped mainly to blank the egr, and didn’t notice a huge difference had it done by Celtic tuning. |

ive had 20 odd cars done now , all different engine sizes and fuel type , not one hasn't been improved by a remap inc my 5.5 v8 petrol merc , I wouldn't pay over the odds for it mind |

Do it and will make big difference to acceleration and smoothness you will notice also you'll be grinning even more , forget the pipe and slippers your not ready yet _____________________________________________________

I'm of the view that the 3.6 needs a remap, but the 4.4 doesn't.

Other things have over taken the Remap.... Looks like me and SWMBO will possibly be building a new house..... so that’s where all pennies have now been diverted, into a wallpaper and kitchen worktop fund.

JE did my 3.6 - massive improvement in driveability little change in mpg.

last time I checked JT Motors site, it was 750+VAT for 4.4 diesel. I do wish they were bit closer to me
