My HDC INACTIVE problem sorted

Decided as it was drier and less cold, to get under the car and see if I could see any obvious reason for HDC INACTIVE. I found this....

As you can see, the inside of the tyre had worn through cable. Repaired temporarily for now (A few years....maybe... Wink ) And dash lights and warnings have gone! Very Happy

Will get new cable from dealer soon (honest!).......

It's worth checking when on a lock, as tyre was only touching when on partial lock, and not in the straight ahead.

Yes, Scarey it's worth checking...

I've added cable ties, to assist in keeping the cable off the tyre in future.
