I'm no expert, but I would say no. I've had both engines, and there are many many differences. The modifications are very extensive.

The M62TUB44 is already used in the Range Rover. It's a varient of the M62B44.

You've just read my mind! While browsing found a modified 740iL with a S62 modified engine which pushed almost 650hp, I bet that power on a Range Rover would be 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior 2006 Range Rover Westminster Java Black |

the guy had done at least 50k miles, from 105 to 155! car is still rollin! but I don't know what he has done to the transmission, didn't mention anything about that! 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

The ZF5HP24 is already at it's limits though, being out of a saloon car and rammed into a RR that weighs twice as much.... |
