As I am being way to fussy on the spec in my quest to find my L405 I’ll take either when the right car turns up although I favour the V8

Looked for a 4.4 for months Ajay. Ended up with a 3.0, opting for available spec and condition over engine size (state of many AU vehicles were a disgrace).

Having had L322 long term in both 4.2SC and 4.4TDV8 variants, the L405 3.0 is excellent and in no way short changes or disappoints. Compared with the L322 the steering and front end feels more responsive and agile

What spec are you looking Ajay?

When i was looking (8 months ago), the spec i was firmly fixed on was: dark interior, deployable tow bar, sliding roof and winged headrests.

i found a car with everything apart from winged headrests - and the dealer agreed to put those in.

With hindsight, i would not be so fussed about the sliding roof - i thought i'd use it a lot more than i have.

Would also have liked remote park heat but i couldn't find a VSE with that on. Could have gone for a slightly older and higher miles AB but i found a car with < 1k miles with everything else on it.
