Crisis averted, it turns out that I hadn’t placed the transponder close enough to the blade end of the flip key. The car was therefore only receiving an intermittent signal causing all the fuss. I have now put the transponder in the gap right next to the blade and all is now well The new key is excellent, much better than the original. |

Hi Steve, the new flip key didn’t have a transponder in it. I used the one out of my original key |

I got one of these and timpsons drilled a hole right through it when cutting it and said its not our blank so its your fault ..... trying to find just a new blade now |
