Pretty sure there is a way to park the wipers so you can lift them clear of the window....

Will rtfm and come back....

Well I read it and no.... there is a method for the rear screen but not for the front There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

VW Golf Mark 5 onwards, and clones I presume, such as Seat, have an upright park procedure, but that is because the wiper arm fouls the rear of the bonnet if manually lifted upwards from the normal park position.

you can then just pull the whole arm back and clean the blade in seconds... no fiddling about removing and refitting etc... oh well... I guess JLR just expect people to pay their service department to do this task for them...good ole JLR... they think of everything!

JLR dealer wouldn't do this - they'd fit new wipers and motor at JLR genuine prices and £ Oddles per hour labour. And do the back as well, just in case...

Very Happy

On both my TT and my FF, I manually move the arms to the deisired position for cleaning and fitting new blades. Then push them back into rest position when I have finished. I guess someone will tell me this is wrong.

Before you get down to that level of detail Stan surely one must decide if you start with the passenger or drivers side. Also what about left hand drives models ?? Do you reverse the procedures?? 2015 4.4 AB
