FF fuel burning heater remote control fob, 2004 TD6

Hi all.
Just a quickie, went to activate the FBH this morning via the remote. On pressing on the remote fob flashed red instead of green and would not activate via the fob. Pressed it again and got an orange flash but no green.
FBH working fine if switched on via the screen. tried to switch it off via the fob and nothing.
Is this flashing red ? amber due to a the batteries in the fob needing replacing.
Thanks in advance.
Regards

Sounds like you need a new fob battery to me.

Have a look in the for sale section. Duckworth Dan has some. What do I put here then?

Thanks for the reply, yes I'm guessing its an indication of low battery, will replace tomorrow and update.
Kind regards.

Confirmed, low batteries in hand set, managed to buy 2 in the local supermarket today. Replaced the 2 cells and all fine. Flashing green again when activated and steady red when switched off. I'm guessing the rapid flashing Amber and red must be indicating low battery. Late 2004 FFRR Vogue 3.0 TD6 Tonga Green
