My TDV8

So I finally went and bought myself another TDV8. Took me a while to find a decent one.

I bought a Vogue SE with most of the toys!

Full history and it drives without fault (well apart from the tyre light flashing)

it has what I believe are the Westminster wheels but I really don’t like them.

I will be changing these out for a set of 20” or 21” l405 or 20” later L322 autobiography/ supercharged wheels and with the 255/55 profile.

I have ordered factory side steps with intergrated mud guards, rear mud guards and now I’m on the lookout for the wheels.

I have also 3 staged machine polished it. It’s dark blue but I’m unsure which one.

Ah my mistake... not sure what made me think they were Westminster wheels! Either way I really don’t like them!

Any ideas what colour it is? As it looks darker than the pre facelift oxford blue. I could be wrong though! Most people think it’s black. 19 L405 4.4 AB + Disco3 pick up + 800BHP Rothmans 911

Well done on your purchase Gunning, it looks awesome. Thumbs Up

Be careful with the side steps.
When I bought mine I tried three sets of 'oem' and was just not happy with the look or fit.
I ended up getting a set of originals from a dealer that was doing a bit of a stock clearance.

It was a few years ago and I'm sure they've got better, just be weary

I reckon its Sumatra Black. My last car was this colour and everyone thought it was black when in fact it was a very very dark blue which only showed itself under certain lighting conditions. 2019 L405 SDV8 Autobiography

Thanks mate, I’ll make sure they look right. I fitted a pair to my 4.4 and they looked good! I feel the car looks bare without them and it’s difficult for my mother to get in and out of 😂 19 L405 4.4 AB + Disco3 pick up + 800BHP Rothmans 911

I think it’s Buckingham blue as it’s not black it’s just very dark. 19 L405 4.4 AB + Disco3 pick up + 800BHP Rothmans 911

Ask JLR for a build sheet and it will tell you exactly what colour it is along with every other detail.

Cheers.
