Guys, forgive me for the million questions, but not having picked up the car yet, I'm trying to pre-familiarise myself with it!

Does the Sat nav player play DVD's? If not, can it be made to? I heard that it can be done on (cough) X5's. I'm assuming its the same system?

I'm not aware that its been done but with most thing throw enough money at it and anything could be possible

No. The BMW based RR system does not support that feature. If you want to play DVDs you must have the TV function and plug a DVD player into the AUX Video input connectors.
