Jay Leno's Garage - Derelict Rolls Silver Cloud

I love a bit of Jay Leno's Garage and this popped up.

The guy he's talking to Jonathan Ward does extreme builds / restos of old Defenders, Ford Broncos and other classics.

He also does these 'derelict' cars which are brand new LS7 etc engines, new chassis, Brembo brakes, new everything, with an old, rusty body put back on top. I guess you could call them sleepers.

Check out this 1958 Rolls Silver Cloud, it's insane. And maybe sacrilege?

Built to order for an Australian customer.

Quite moreish that internet.

. Cheers, Greg

Glad you liked it Craig!

Check out Jonathan Ward's You Tube channel. Here's one of the Defenders he's done:

...and the Aussies will spot the VIC historic number plate on the Rolls.
Adds to the weirdness of it all, seeing that beast driving around LA.

Cool restoration. Loved the idea of the new chassis, but a Rolls Royce needs to be SILENT. Big muffler and it’d be perfect.
