LPFP L322 td6

Just fuelled up got 300yards down road and fuel injectors came up on dash. No power.
Plugged iid tool in and get P1180-04.
Low pressure fuel pump( could be filter it says). Am thinking its the pump not the filter as i change the filter every 2nd service. Roughly 6 to 7 thou oil changes.

Did you let the fuel run a bit low before filling up?. Below quarter tank, these ff's can suck up some crap out of the tank.
so could still be filter, or some crap in l/p pump.
go cheapest and easiest first.
Greg.

Changed the filter and after a bit of coaxing it started. stopped, started, stopped, started and got it running.

Went inside to get ph so I could clear the codes on iid tool, when I came out it had stopped. Crying or Very sad

Tried to start it again but after a few goes nothing. Couldnt hear the pump.

code P1180-04 still up left side fuel pressure sensor plausibility, pre delivery pressure below starting required pressure.
general failure info
system internal failure

Any hints and tips greatly appreciated.

Have ordered a LPFP for the one near the rear L wheel.

Thanks

Well I finally got my beast back.

The LPFP was ok,but it was changed anyway.

It appears to be a relay in the rear fuse section that was the culprit.

Changed it for a known working one and I'm back on the road.

Now to get the back seats back in. Evil or Very Mad

cheers

High pressure pump is dead I bet.
Should be giving a low pressure warning on diagnostics I bet. This is why it won't start without easy start as it needs the higher crank speed to get pressure up and then still has no power and will stall easily FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
