If i replace the radio in 06 FFRR HSE...

If i replace the radio in 06 FFRR HSE with an aftermarket unit what functions do i lose? Can the steering wheel controls be retained with an aftermarket unit.If so is there a write up or instructions to use the steering wheel controls?

AFAIK the Android head unit threads only cover the pre-touch screen FFs. I believe the OP's '06 will be touch screen with fibre optics. John
