Thanks Red Merle - I know I'm in the minority regarding privacy glass, I'd say at least 90% of FFRR have it. I just think the interior of a Range Rover is a beautiful thing to see, so I prefer not to hide it. Plus I do definitely agree with your statement about some trying to be down with the kids, although those individuals also tend to "Pimp" their cars further with other pieces of tat! |

Well, apart from pre-'74 Classics, where the D-pillar is body colour. Not a fan of the new matte paint on the gills etc. Also really do not like ghetto glass. |

Personally, I wouldn't ever consider a LWB Rangie. I don't think I've ever been driven in the back of mine.

...and I'd have a LWB in a heartbeat if I had the money and didn't need to bother about resale value.

I also don't like Privaceee Glass, but for those moments when Privacy is essential it's a must, plus I think a RR looks better with it.

It looks really striking, but my personal feeling is that with the extra length, it looses some of the impact of it's height. Also, the extra wheelbase reduces the practicality should you ever need to take her off-road, as your beaching height is lower than with the standard wheelbase. Privacy Glass doesn't really worry me one way or the other. I have it on mine, but I would be just as happy without.

I'm another for the privacy glass. I think it shows off the lines of the car and it's really useful at stopping prying eyes when you don't want it.

From an aesthetic perspective, I can’t see how there’s an argument in favour of (legal) tinted glass - the contrast between clear front and dark rear windows just awkwardly splits the greenhouse and makes them look like VAT-dodge vans. |

I'm also with Trommel on this one..... While Privacy Glass does serve a purpose in the rear, it offers no real privacy to the driver nor front passenger, as the front windows are still clear.
