Tyre slip on rims causing vibration

Car is 8 months old with 6000 miles and has been back to dealer 7 times with poor ride, seat and steering vibration issue.
It gets worse as tyres heat up. It is enough to cause steering wheel to judder at 45-75mph, and rear view mirror and side mirrors to vibrate.
Riding on factory fit 21 inch rims. Factory fitted Goodyear rubber.
To date they have tried:
1. Rebalancing Each time they rebalance the wheels there is between 0.25 and 1 ounce discrepancy from when they previously balanced
2. Heating rubber, over inflating leaving for 48 hours etc,
3. Under inflating and driving for 100miles.
4. Rotating the wheels etc

Diagnosed initially by dealer as flat spots on tyres all attempts to cure have failed.
They are now advising there is tyre slip on the rim. ON ALL 4 RIMS?
They are now taking it up with LR and tyre manufacturer to see if they can replace rims/tyres under warranty.

I’ve scoured the comments on here and can’t see anything on this as a reported problem.
Has anyone experienced?
Potential solutions gratefully received.
Dealer have actually been great about trying to get to root cause, but so far no fix.
It’s driving me nuts! Current: 2017 RR Supercharged. 5.0 V8.

I thought so too. They said that comes next...
I’m at point where buying four new rims and tyres would even be better than another trip back for more diagnosis. Current: 2017 RR Supercharged. 5.0 V8.

Hi. Have you been in water ? Had experience where water gets in the tyres and when you take to get re balanced it’s never spotted. Tyres spin and water moves. Also sometimes not seen when breaking the bead only and moving the tyre on the rim. Really need to take tyre fully off and check inside each. Might by a wild shot but more likely than 4 faulty tyres. 2013 L405 AB 4.4SDV8 Luxor/Ivory, 2007 Vogue TDV8 Epson Green/Sand, 2008 Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue/Sand, 2003 Vogue 4.4 LPG Epsom Green/Sage, 1998 Vogue SE 4.6 LPG Epsom Green/Cream

I fly an aeroplane, and we have tyre creep markers between the tyres and the rim, the purpose with tube tyres it prevents shearing off the inflation valve when they creep and they do, and you could do the same here. (ok yours aren't tubed before anybody says it!)

Mark the tyres and the rims with a line to see if the line comes out of alignment. It is possible the tyres are a bit oversize or the rims have been machined a bit small or an unfortunate bit of both being at the extremes of tolerance, but for the sake of a bit of crayon or marker pen varnish its worth a go.

16.5 inch tyres used to be an available size with dire warnings of fitting them on 16 inch rims, and BL used to fit metric tyres if I remember.

Is there somebody local to you who would swap tyres for a trip around the block to compare?

Best wishes
Glen

Thanks for the advice. I think they have kept car with markers on the rims to drive this weekend and do exactly what you’re saying Balloonengineer.
Appreciate the water thought CMJ. It has not been in water as far as I know.
I’ll be insisting they swap out all four for a set off another vehicle if they don’t do that as next step, wood78987 and stan.
Thanks again Current: 2017 RR Supercharged. 5.0 V8.
