I got that one too. It’s interesting to see that the Belar’s in the promotion, it does seem to have been a tough few months for a lot of manufacturers, LR included

That would make sense.

I attended the factory tour recently and the guide stressed a number of times all cars are built to order not to stock. If so MY 17 does not make sense especially if country wide and not just certain dealerships who make a stock of MY17's they have brought. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

In 2018 I think that we will see substantial discounts not only across the JLR brand but across all cars on sale in the U.K.

Currently looking to replace Mrs Jim’s Ewoke. We were offered a discount of £6500 off a ne VW Tiguan R Line with various extras today.

Be careful not to be mislead by the statement that “all cars are built to order”.

JLR commit their dealer’s to production slots which are then either filled with a customer order or, if it’s not sold in time, the dealer has to spec the build to something that they hope will be easy to sell and hope that they can sell it from stock.

But, as far as Land Rover are concerned, it’s “built to order”, it’s just that the “order” is the dealer’s order and not an actual retail order...

My local dealer (a branch of a larger chain) usually has loads of pre-specced cars available for these types of event.
