Roof blind on Autobiography retraction issue

Hi, new to this forum.

I have just replaced my 2011 L322 with an 2013 L405 that belonged to a friend. This is a 4.4 V8 Autobiography and I love the car, it is fantastic.

One annoying issue though (ok 2, the airbag warning light keeps coming on and going off all the time despite my dealer putting a new seat wiring loom in). When I try to retract the roof blind that covers the panoramic roof it retracts to the middle of the car and sags. Then at this point something snaps and it goes taught again until it gets to full retraction and it sags just behind the headrest of the rear passenger seats.

I don't know if anyone has seen this problem or knows a fix. I worry that when I take it to the dealer it will be a big job as the blind is embedded in the roof lining.

Hi. There was a very similar issue when I bought mine. I wouldn’t take the car until the previous owner got sorted in case it was a full roof out job. Turns out they are on a simple track mechanism and often come off track and can be put back on in most cases without the roof being touched. Took dealer 30 mins to fix so I would say worth an explore with the dealer. 2013 L405 AB 4.4SDV8 Luxor/Ivory, 2007 Vogue TDV8 Epson Green/Sand, 2008 Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue/Sand, 2003 Vogue 4.4 LPG Epsom Green/Sage, 1998 Vogue SE 4.6 LPG Epsom Green/Cream
