Hi Stan - that doesn't explain why it didn't tell me it was overdue a service prior to me getting it sorted yesterday

Forgive me but I don't understand why you think it's overdue for a service.

I have had my 2006 for nearly 5?yeara and never seen any type of service light so just get it done every 12,000 miles or once a year. Would be nice to actually have a service indicator though like I do on my BMW. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
