Crank but no start. No codes

Just started, or not started, today. iidtool has no engine codes. I was about to start the hunt for the parasitic drain. Went to start car and it does the 30 second crank but no start thing it does on rare occasion. It has never failed to start on the second try. Tried 3 times and the cranking started to weaken. Jumped car but still crank but no start. So dependent on the iidtool I forget where to go next.

Ok I'm thinking fuel pump or relay. I was assuming there was a code for this and that the iidtool would pick it up but I think I am mistaken. Also in another post somewhere I was told that person's failing pump would throw the lambda codes as mine has been doing.

Have you got ignition lights on the dash?

All the same lights as before. Iidtool also reads when ignition is on or off. Got to get out there tonight and bypass the fuel pump relay to see if I can hear the pump go on.

Mine will do the crank but no start after disconnecting battery.
But I get an immobiliser fault and before owning a Faultmate I had to send to a dealer but I think Allcomms does it now and IID should but check you have fuel pressure and failing that it could be the immobiliser / EMS ECU link that is at fault.
