My 08 plate TDV8 needs a new fuel cap. Well, it doesn't, but the "rubber string" whatsit is bost and little things like that annoy me.

I think the part number is LR012897G.

do you have to replace the whole cap when the plastic retaining wire brakes or can that be replaced on its own - if so can you let me know how much and how order. Thanks David

Replacing the strap is an easy DIY job, I know because I've done to myself. I think the best results come from using an old boot lace and crimping an eyelet on each end. Geoff
