Switzerland 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black
Prices are nuts!

Evening all. Used to post here a fair bit but after selling my LHD Swiss Range Rover about 9 months ago I've been a little quiet.

RR was purchased in October 2009 and it was a 2007 Vogue SE in Black, with 30k on the clock, and paid £32.5k. Looking at the prices now, that would appear to have been the bargain of the century!

As we've moved back to the UK I was looking to buy a RR but not as these prices! Will wait until the Summer. Anyone who has owned one for the last year/18 months has probably made money on the car!

Indeed. I bought mine just before the snow last year so did quite well.

Bring on a warm winter!

I think I might sell mine now and wait till the summer to pick another up. £1.60/l fuel and an absence of snow will probably make it slow for dealers.

It may be slower for the dealers some months before the completely new model arrives in a year or so...
Hopefully that'll be the time for a bargain.

If interest rates have gone up by then as well, it could effect prices more.
Currently it's too cheap to borrow money and buy a car.
And many with mortgages have more disposable income with interest rate at 0.5%.

A lack of second hand cars due to a big sales dip in 2008 with the credit crunch doesn't help either.
