I have similar except mine goes into extended mode again no faults - I suspect mine happened when car was valeted with too much fluid on the carpets will be interesting to see what others say |

Have you had the car tracking done recently? Sometimes faults along these lines can be thrown up by the steering angle sensor calibration.

Just got back from 6 weeks away and put the beast in to have tracking set.
