Try a different set of wheels and tyres. Easiest way to sort this out, the dealer will be able to sort this out for a test and for you to try as well.

Good luck Alex

Drove the car with one of mechanics. I'm pretty confident now it is tyre noise as the tone does change on road services. Mechanic did say he has had a few customers express the same concerns. He also said it would drive him insane for which I can confirm it is doing just that. It sounds like a wheel bearing which gets louder with speed. I was informed this would be collected prior collection (9 weeks ago) from service perspective they said there is nothing they can do. Not sure where I stand now? Crying or Very sad

Mine also on 22's no issue with noise - agree you tyres are probably goosed - that's one of the reasons I rotate mine once a year.

Front left to rear right etc

Hi Vogue, can I ask what tyres you are running on your 22s. Thanks

Continental Cross Contact 275/40/22, it says M&S on them but they definitely don't look like M&S!

FWIW, I am now running pressures of 34 & 37 which is the recommended pressure for up to 4 adults. Previously it was on 32 and 35 with just me in. These pressures are fine, but I put the pressures up by 2psi all round and there is a difference in noise. It's not bad, but it's noticeable on certain road surfaces - it goes away with more passengers in the car due to the weight. I.e. Over inflation for the load causes a bit more road noise.

More to do with the rest of the car being so quiet than anything else. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aruba

Hello, I know this is an old thread but wondered if there was a conclusion. I have a 2016 L405 SDV8 on 22's that has had a whirring/rumbling noise for about 12 months, originally only really audible at motorway speeds but now from 30mph. Tried swopping tyres front to rear as different brands but no difference. Local LR independent is puzzled but said most similar noises they've dealt with were tyre related.
