service intervals on a 4.4SDV8

could someone please quickly tell me what the service interval is on the L405 4.4 SDV8 ??

eg is it every 12months / 12000 miles?
Is it A, B, Oil change then repeat etc etc

Officially - 16k miles or 12 months whichever comes first.

However, there is a service indicator on the car that is supposed to tell you when it actually needs one.

However, trying to sell it again with anything less frequent than 16k / 12 months may be problematic - same for warranty claims I guess, though they may be able to read the ECU and clarify whether you indeed missed a service.

I find the whole thing very murky - especially the 12 month thing - the car knows the date, so if the engineers who built it believed the 12 month rule, then that is when the indicator would come on.......

Anyway, 16k or 12 months and you should be fine Thumbs Up
