Hi,

the reversing distance sensor does not seem to work any more, when you select reverse you get a long beep, like it's telling you it's broke, but I am not sure what may be needed to fix it.

Has anyone else had this problem?, was it fixed by changing the a sensor in the bumper?, changing all the sensors, or just the ones that had lost some pain off them?, how do you know which ones have failed?.

Can this be fixed by users or it it a dealer job, I have spanners etc

talked about loads of times..info can be found via the search..

but, briefly, switch on ignition, select reverse and listen to each sensor ..the sensor should make a clicking noise , if it doesnt then you have pin pointed the faulty one...

yes, same symptoms as yours and faulty one replaced under warranty - broken wire
