Avon ZX7 255/55/R19 V Tyres any exerience with these?

I am about to change all 4 tyres on my 2011 Vogue TDV8. I never go off road and would like a tyre which runs quieter than the OEM P Zeros. These Avons are better rated for rolling resistance, wet grip and noise compared with P Zeros. They are also a bit cheaper. Has anyone on here tried them? 2011 Vogue TDV8 4.4

OK, I guess nobody here has fitted these yet - but maybe you should!
Here are the official ratings for AVON ZX v Pirelli Scorpion Zeros:
Rolling Resistance; B v C
Wet grip: A v C (way better)
Noise: 71 db v 72 db

I measured cabin noise levels at 60 mph on the same stretch of road before and after fitting the Avons:
Before (with scorpions) 80 db: after with Avons 79 db. so a small but noticeable difference.

Other reports indicate wear is similar or a bit better, and they are cheaper too!

Now they probably wouldn't suit those who go off road, but that is not an issue for me. 2011 Vogue TDV8 4.4

Hello - I've been looking at these and thought they looked good. Would you mind telling me how they performed over the last c18 months please? Thumbs Up
