Just ordered some replacement nuts for the bushing clamps

Are you supposed to grease (Marine grease) the inside of the bushings?

Can you do this with the weight of the truck (set in extended mode) or do you need the weight off the front wheels? I thought I recalled not to torque any suspension bolts down until the vehicle is supporting it’s weight (off of a jack) and at normal ride height for bushings etc to last longer. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Don’t grease the bush.

It doesn’t matter if you torque these off the ground, as the bushes will just rotate round the sway bar once the weight is on the wheels unlike a suspension arm, Which If you torque up in the air the bush gets twisted as you out the car down as it’s then fixed in place There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thank you. I’ll be swapping them out when I have some warmer weather.

I did just get a dash alert “suspension fault vehicle lean when cornering”. This only seems to happen on really cold days and from what I seen from a cold start. The error clears if I turn off the engine and restart. Took it to auto zone and pep boys and both their scanners could pic up a code even with it still on the dash (car running).

I’ve read this can be due to a bad valve/solenoid on the ARC block. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Might also be worth checking the pipes and fluid levels in the ARC ststem. IIRC the pipes can rust and leak, and aren’t visible as are covered by a plastic shield. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I did that prior when I got it a year ago. It was just a hair below max so I topped it. But it barely took any. I’m pretty sure I looked again when I changed my brake pads etc. and I think we are good there. But good idea 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC
