My air suspension keeps coming up as inactive. I've tried the strip down and replace piston ring fix, but no change. Watched the L322 episode of Wheeler Dealers last night and Ed says he got a whole reconditioned turtle for £120.

Does anyone know where he is likely to have got that from? I can't seem to find anyone doing these for anything like this money.

Do you have a diagnostics facility like the IIDtool? As there are many reasons why the air suspension could be coming up as inactive. It’s not only the compressor that could be at fault.

It could be something as simple as your ABS module sending out a message that there’s a fault or even your battery voltage being a tad low.

Are you getting any other messages or lights on the dash?

No other messages. Don't think it's battery related as when I reset it it is fine until it goes onto squat mode on a run then the message comes back up. Obviously at that time I have good voltage from a fast running alternator.

I've got to reset it today, so I'll have a read of the faults and post them here.

Does it lose any height overnight? Possibly indicating a leak...

Other than that it could be a faulty height sensor.... best to get the codes read
