I suspected that green would disappear after it did on the D5. Has red gone too? |

How did you find this out? There are no changes on the configurator yet... |

Dealer contact thinks it’s unlikely that it won’t follow what has happened for 18MY Discovery and Sport, i.e. everything that isn’t solid black or white has to be paid for.

My dealer is also expecting metallic to be chargeable. They’re going to have to apply quite a few stealth price increases considering how many components have to be bought in from abroad and the substantial drop in sterling is going to have an affect sooner, rather than later

Quite ridiculous when you can’t order a green Land Rover. |

You can’t actually order a green Discovery Sport, Evoque or Discovery at all, even if you want to pay through the nose - who actually thinks this stuff up?

They presumably taking the decision based on hard data that green has almost vanished from the order schedule. Changing tastes and all that. The only people we can blame is ourselves for not ordering them in green (Red Merle is and honourable exception).

You still see a fair few green ones around, particularly out of town. |

By way of example, I’ve seen more than a handful of Aintree Discovery 5s, but not a single one in that vile orange which is still available. |

Interestingly, my own dealer said that, on hearing that red was being deleted, immediately ordered two red ones for stock. Has he managed to secure a red one yet? |

If you look for supercharged they're nearly all black, almost all with blacked out windows, and almost all with 22" shiny wheels. Customers want an aggressive look with bling. It's a look I dislike, but almost everyone chooses it. |
