Good morning so I have a couple issues with my fatty first seen a similar post regarding trans fail safe and stuck in fail safe gear 4 have read codes getting shift solenoid 1 so I'm assuming from reading the other post I'm having the same issue drives beautifull from cold changing gears as it should no clunking or whining then after temp gets up around 10 minuets I get 4th gear and fail safe on dash I can reset codes but continues to stay in fail safe untill I leave to cool right down good few hours then I will be able to use all gears untill it warms.up and happens again so does any one know of a good supplier I did see Phill on here supplies them but I can not message him through here so of he could contact me I would be gratefull next problem I get hdc and air suspension inactive sometimes it will work normal with no issues or if I start the car and use diagnostics to reset air suspension it will stay working untill I switch the engine off and I get the air suspension inactive hdc inactive reading codes it's saying can bus fault and this seems to trigger and can bus fault air suspension can bus time out any help would be greatly appreciated also my car is a 2003 4.4 V8 lpg converted many thanks I have already found some helpful information through here keep up the good work guys

Hi, what are the codes you are clearing down when it gets up to temperature and what codes do you get with the HDC and suspension faults?

I wouldn’t automatically assume a solenoid fault with the gearbox - I would lean towards a transmission cooler problem but that depends on the fault codes.. ______________________________
